302 head stud questin

I was wondering if its possible to have the head stud holes drilled and taped for larger 1/2 bolt. any body have expirience with that?

I am guessing you mean in the deck of the 302 block? If so, there is not enough material to tap them to 1/2". They are already 7/16", which only leaves you 1/32" per side of the hole. 1/32" is not enough material to gain a full 1/2" thread. The crest of the thread in the block would be significantly truncated (missing).
