go to www.vapauto.comhttp://http:// steve is helpful. A windstar is for a splitport engine. it requires a modified throttle body and custom CAI. thats about it.

so it requires everything for the splitport. plus the windstar kit from vap.

Steven at VAPauto's customer service is top notch. you'll be happy with a Windstar upper intake with a SSM stage 3 Heads/Cam/lower intake.

and thanks mygreengt, you guys (V8 owners) have always been quite friendly to us V6 members.

If you do go with a Procharger you could go 12's... actually you could most likely do 12's with a mostly stock single port Block+intakes ( assuming you have supporting mods like gears, exhaust, and weight reduction). The fastest SN95's are actually tubo'd stroker single ports... haha well as far as I know, there aren't that many Split Ports in the 9's yet.

true. both ported and polished singleports and splitports run similar numbers. however splitport still has higher hp numbers. the fastest is a singleport just because no one has done the work to get a splitport that fast yet.

guys, keep the topic on the tires. V6 specific talk needs to be in the V6 tech section.

(i know it was originally put there, but where they go is based on the question in the first thread and not where the talk leads to)

Gotchya^... 315's would look absolutely amazing on your car... they do on just about any SN95 mustang. My 315's hook really good, and they hook even better with traction lock... or detroit locker. Normal driving... i don't notice them, but the car actually handles better around the curves with these tires.

Wheels and tires... the first, and most important upgrade on any car... because they are the first thing touch the ground, and it's what the driver responds to. The right tires, make all the difference.
