Just telling you what the guy @ Vortec told me.
Boost is boost when it comes down to it. The guy and vortech play CYA selling a basic system that probably puts out 6 or 7 lbs of boost that maximizes longevity and power output on a Completely stock setup. Once you add a stroker, boost goes down power goes up. Longevity becomes questionable depending on what material rods, pistons and crank are used.

In reality if the appropriate materials are used in the stroker kit. The longevity isn't a problem unless you are pushing the envelope, same situation for all engines and builds. But you will need a different pulley combination than the factory prescribed kit to achieve the boost/power you desire. Heads, cams intake and Displacement all affect the boost level. It's cool stuff, you should check out richard holdener on YouTube, he has a library of small block ford engine testing.
