thanks. the install isnt too bad, took maybe an hour. the cheaper kits arent plug and play like the more expensive ones, but its like 2-3 wires on each side that you have to mess with, im pretty sure i didnt even need to cut or splice anything, you just switch the pins around on the electrical plugs, dont quote me on that though.

For me, it's a bit of unique nostalgia belonging only to the Ford Mustang. The sequential lights have a history with the Mustang. They were stock in the late 60's and now again on the newer Mustangs. Stock or a factory option. And the SN95 was the first to attempt any kind of "retro" feel given back to the Mustang. That's why, for me.

Only to the Ford Mustang???? I guess the Mercury Cougar sequential taillights didn't exist.........

now all I need to know is if led lighting will effect its flashing speed? I will need one of these when I finish my horozontal-led conversion. It got a little delayed because I had to do some repair work to the painted areas before I could paint them and smoke the lenses. Paint is drying as I type, just need to smoke the lenses now and then clear it all and one side will be done so I can compair to the other to se if it was wort hthe trouble...

autotrix.com sells the flasher to slow down the flash rate. American Muscle sells one by Raxium but don't know how it functions. autotrix flasher is nice.
American Muscle has an e-bay site and sells the splice kit and harness sometimes, cheap too. AM's website sells them straight up too.

I went to install my new horozontal led tails and everything was great until I tried the brake. For some reason I do not seem to have any power for the brake wire on the drivers side now. Not exactly sure if it was working before, I assume it was but then I can't see the brake lights anyway. Anyone have a wiring schematic for the brake/turn signals?

I tried putting LEDs in my tail lights, with just 2 of the bulbs replaced with LEDs my flasher went crazy and they wouldn't sequence at all, just a loud screaming sound. My guess is you'll have to add resistors or an LED flasher.
