http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mustang-Sequential-Taillights-96-97-98-99-00-01-02-03-04-96-04-FREE-BONUS-?cmd=ViewItem&hash=item4aaf9a5b49&item=320773708617&pt=Car_Audio_Video&vxp=mtr#ht_3565wt_1185

s
eemed sketchy at under 150 like the others.

But low and behold, they work really great.

Even got shipped to me here in Germany pretty quick.

So for anyone who is into this kinda thing, I found a cheaper so far(4 months...I wait and test things before I rave about them) same quality set.

Pass it to your friends.

Now, Make sure you replace your turn signal relay to slow down the flash rate sequence to match what Ford intended and installs. They slow down the flash rate by about 50% and makes the mod even that much more enjoyable to have.
autotrix.com And americanmuscle.com both sell them. I have the one from autotrix and it is high quality. I have a video to show how fast they blink if interested, let me know- Congratulations!

There are a few things I dont mind spending a little more $$ on, webelectic has the splice in kit for $70 with free shipping, lifetime warranty

They were one of the first to sell sequential kits and you never hear any complaints with their kits

That's exactly what kit I have. I've had them for a while now (maybe 18-20 months) and haven't had a single issue!

I got my harness from AM e-bay site many years ago. Got bored some time ago and installed three different type bulbs for each sequence flash. Brightest bulb first (Silverstar), then a long life, then a standard bulb. Probably doesn't make a difference but it's just one of those things I've done, "just because".

turn sig relay at AM huh?

Will give that a look.

I didn't know about any kits that weren't off AM, so when I was just typing random parts for stuff on ebay, I figured, well, I've wasted more for less, may as well try.

I'll keep these guys in mind if mine goes out

Next I'm getting those tinted factory style headlights off LRS..

mine are too old and cracked, and dingy.

Maybe some HIDs, depends on if they are legal where I'm goin.
I figure with the loud exhaust I'm planning, I should not give cops any more reason to pull me over.

Turn signal relay: American Muscle sells the "Raxiom" ts switch. autotrix.com sells the one I have.
Sequential Kit: You can get a $250.00 kit or a $45.00 kit. cjponyparts.com, brothersperformanceparts.com, californiamuscleparts.com, mustangsunlimited.com, mossmuscle.com. They have a large variety including LED if you want.

First off don't get pissed at me, I am not calling it "rice" or anything, I just don't get the fascination with these kits.

For me, it's a bit of unique nostalgia belonging only to the Ford Mustang. The sequential lights have a history with the Mustang. They were stock in the late 60's and now again on the newer Mustangs. Stock or a factory option. And the SN95 was the first to attempt any kind of "retro" feel given back to the Mustang. That's why, for me.

Yeah I had them in my1968 California Special Mustang, I thought it was pretty cool in that car but it had a long, narrow tail light assembly out of the Shelbys. Had a girlfriend that had them on her 1967 Cougar. I am all for the retro look, I really like the direction of the new body styles mimicking the old ones. I am also for appreciating different tastes. I just don't care what people behind me see at a red light.

@framda

For me personally?

A. I agree about loving the old school Mustangs.

B. My taillights are boring.

C. My exterior mod list is really short. So I figured, since I don't want them smoked, or those euro taillight kits you see all over the net, I may as well go retro.

I just have a long list of things that I need to spend money on before worrying how my lights flash. Between wife, daughter, dog, Harley, Mustang I am effin broke ;~))
