Looking for a good set of takeout 4v pistons/rods.

I'm rebuilding a B head cobra engine for the gf's brother as a surprise gift for his birthday in a couple months. Guy is always helping others and it's about time someone did something for him for a change.

His car is a bolt on Gt so it doesn't need anything fancy. I just can't use the pistons/rods I just took out due to damage.

Let me know what you got. Thanks

I'm rusty on my navigator info but I'll check around. Normally I'd get a nice forged set but the engine is not for me and the guy will just be leaving it stock so I might as well keep the budget low. 2v stuff is everywhere but I also don't want to lower compression when I can avoid it.

Look no further than Boss 302/Coyote rods for about 125 or so a set. They’re proven to hold in excess of 700 hp in modulars and will handle anything he’ll throw at it.

Navigator pistons are flat top and the same compression distance.

White is right about coyote rods, but then again any of the stock 4.6l rods will do in a stock engine.
