87-93 foxbody 5speed

i know everyone says that you cant use them for a 5.0, but has anyone actually had the 2 side by side to compare? aside from the bell housings, whats different? this guy at a mustang wrecking yard is telling me the only difference in the input shaft is that the foxbody shaft is 1/4" shorter. is that correct? if so, it sounds like all i would have to do is swap out teh bell and im good, right???

Yeah. Or you can swap out the input shaft if you want to use the 94/95 bellhousing.

or use the fox bell/crossmember and use a driveshaft spacer, right? is that all?

also, how can you properly identify an SN95 t5? in short, there's a guy in town that will sell me everything out of a fox for 50 bucks more then an sn95 t5 up in LA. i'm trying to save a drive, but the 50 bucks is a wash after the spacer.

and i hear the SN T5 has better built internals?
