'94 GT Crank trigger conversion

I'm looking for the cheapest way possible (Simply because I don't like spending money) to convert my '94 GT to a crank trigger setup, have got everything else covered (Car runs off a Link G4+ ECU) except the crank trigger wheel itself - aside from a $250 - $350 kit from Summit racing, what are my options?

Can't you use a Cam sensor from a distributorless explorer?

That's basically what we'll be replacing the dizzy with, but still need a crank reference, does anyone know if a crank pulley/trigger wheel from a 5.0 explorer will fit a '94 SN95 GT without having belt alignment/balancer issues?
