I just put a 95 cobra intake on my car with injectors mass air flow and fuel pressure regulator the timing is correct and the car still does not run correctly. We checked the harmonic balencer it is fine....anyone have any ideas?
Why does the intake requite 24's? And if you went from 19# to 24# that could be your issue. But with lack of knowing exactaly what the cars doing its hard to pin point a problem.
2nd that..but also you said the maf was upgraded to the cobra, put back the 19's and the original maf. The cobra had a different tune and cam along with the intake which resulted in a slight power lift. If you don't have anything else besides the intake, the 24's will run you rich unless tuned
I agree i have a friend that went with a short runner intake on his cobra and its tuned for 24# and he slapped 42# on there and it runs like crap, runs rich and falls on its face around 4k rpm...
