94 mustang gt, I have to pump gast 3 cents at a time and its getting old lol.

Anybody else ever have this problem and what did you do to fix it?

I believe that there is a vent that comes off the side of the filler tube that runs into a hose then down throught the rear bumper. This did have some mud and stuff stuck in there and i got it out best I could with a long screwdriver but im thinking maybe i should just blow through it was some compressed air.

There is no hose that runs off the filler neck, however the little flap that is inside of your filler neck at the bottom where it goes into the tank might be getting hung up causing the fuel to not enter the tank fast enough which would give the pump the signal that you are full. Check that out, you can remove the filler neck fairly easy and it will be a good time to inspect that pesky filler neck grommet that everyone seems to be replacing lately.

ok guys kind of what i didnt want to hear, lol. I did replace the fuel pump last summer but it had no problem for a long time and oddly enough. The problem has disappeared randomly but most of the time it happens and it sucks. I guess ill have to pull that filler neck. Thanks and ill let u know if that fixes it.
