Did you burp the system correctly wihen you put the new radiator in? Did you install the thermostat in the right way?

I just pulled the t stat and tested it, it works fine. The stat should run side to side right and how do you burp the system

To burp the system you leave the radiator cap off while you let the car warm up, this will slowy get all of the air bubbles out of the system. Any air pockets along the line will cause overheating.

Idk what you're trying to say but the side with the spring should be facing the motor.

jack the front end of the car up and let it warm up with the radiator cap off. Unless there is a "higher" opening available on the car. Also, do this with the heater on full blast.

I would pull your CCRM out of the car and check to see if you burnt the unit up .. IF you wire your fan to run on a switch its very hard on the ground in the unit and it will burn it up ( only if you wiring the fan to the 15th wire in the unit) Its a ground.. Also make sure you have 2 speeds .. GO ahead and unplug the Coolant temp sensor and see if the fan kicks on high speed with the car running .. Then if the fans are works properly then I would check the bottom radiator hose and make sure it has a spring inside it . Flush radiator and check therm and you should have fix it .. Well in less its your waterpump .. Also check the fuse between the fan and fan wiring plug if your car has one .. Some do some dont

This ^^^. It's very common that you fill up the radiator and it will come back out(hence the burp). Keep topping it off until it no longer does it. A lot of people just top off the radiator after some work turn it on and go, this leaves air in the system and the air and water become boiling steam.

It make the burping process easier, if you're replacing your thermostat, drill a 1/8th hole in the tstat so air can escape. make sure when you install it, the hole is on top.

I think I may have fixed it by burping it I let it run and idle for almost 10 mins the temp hand ran in normal operating zone......I'm gonna let it cool down and then take it for a spin to see if it's cleared up!!

good to hear! did you notice a lot of air bubbles coming out when you were squeezing the hoses? If so, air in your lines was probably your culprit

In addition to the burping, did you add a good big radiator? Or just a new stocker?

The stock radiator is crap. It wouldn't even hold temperature close on a race track. It did fine putting around town, but you get on the throttle for a period of time, my 94 was heating up. 250+, I got a little nervous with those temps. 230 is relatively normal at a road course when you're in high RPM on a hot day for 30min straight. But yea, put in a ZAP big 3 core aluminum, I was running 200 without issue.
