My cousin handed over a 99 cobra to me with messed up paper work insurrance company junked the title after it was stolen. i am now in thr process of starting the IRS swap on my 95 gt. i know i will need the the brake lines and abs sensors from the cobra and from what people have told me it bolts right up. If anyone else has done this swap and want to give me some advice that would be great. i will also be posting pics of the whole process when i start.. soon irs suspension:drool:
SRT Handz just recently did an IRS swap on his 1998. I'm sure he could provide some insight on it. Oh wait.... Nvm.

That threat is missing a lot of info.. there it's going to be a few holes that need to be drilled thru the trunk or figure a way of bolting the irs to the subframe. That's the hardest part..
[]that was my original plan BUT has a bad head it dropped a spark plug in a cylinder and destroyed the piston and scared up the cylinder wall bad:deeplist: therefore i just decided to use as many parts off it as i can:thumbsup:
has bad engine im sure its fixable but i have a baby coming soon dont really have time for that kind of project
thats actually a thread i have read before ive seen a ton already im going to use everyones opinions and thoughts when i start
got it already along with some 3.73 gears. i seen your thread on your irs swap how is it coming along???
It's at a virtual standstill but i may swap out the subframe bushings this weekend and begin disasembling the old IRS.
If either of you need advice or tips let me know. I swapped mine in a matter of hours. Biggest pain is the brake lines. www.belmetric.com will be your best friend
