The replacement intake was put on today and everything seemed to be running ok. The replacement intake was an upgrade with the aluminum crossover. Tomorrow the flowmasters super 40s will be installed...anybody ready for a video of the final pre-tune product?

You didn't specify if the replacement was a stock ford or Dorman intake. I'm going to assume you know the difference and take it that it is a pi intake cause them dorman are junk

Hey that's pretty cool that Dorman is staying on top of their product! To go as far to scour listings in forums......cool! Perhaps when I stated the "dorman pi intake replacement is junk,....perhaps I should state.......Dorman pi intake is a oem quality replacement intake, built the performance aspect compared to a Ford pi intake , suffers. The Dorman replacement is an identical npi intake, but with pi shaped port exits.
My hats off to Dorman!!! Keep up the good work
