I got a bit of uncle Ben in my roots. I like the wing. Honestly, i dont like the looks of the new edge and no wing looks good on the car. The car looks remind me of mid-90's chevrolet fwd "sport" car. It feels like ford was grasping straws for design as the model was closing to its end. The sexy smooth curves of the 94-98 sn95's has my heart.

Im seeking out fabricated wings too, but this duck tail hits on point for me

I personally am not a huge fan of convertibles, but 79-04 Stang's are probably the only car I would be happy with as a convertible. I vote no wing.

Im not of fan of any mustang convertible, but i acquired the car. As a matter of fact, the dumbass convertible cylinders have took a chit. The plan is to remove them and the pump system and operate the top manually. Im not spending money on the top mechanism.

As for looks, i dont think the convertible mustangs look terrible. My preference is coupe mostly for practicality performance.

Convertible is nice id get one but the area i live you could not have one
The weather for drastic heat
Thieves to easy to break in over hear
And as you stated parts wear out quick at least in the heat
Those are my main reasons why I don't want one

You would have to park it in a good lit location at night
It would need to be in a shop garage during the day

I get it! Rear drive cars are desirable. Now that im submerged into the classic volvo world with my sons car, ive realized the market desire for these cars.....rear drive, 4 cylinder classic, easy to work on. I plan on hanging onto the cobra. I really dont find letting it go worthwhile. Even tho im not fond of it

Round these parts, these cars have dropped in value. A couple years ago you couldn’t get a nice new edge for under 6k. Now there are a bunch on marketplace that are nice but have been sitting for months. I’m thinking about jumping on another one. Im undecided on color though.
