yeah thats really helpful....
i'm trying to remember the names of the parameters on my PMS so bare with me if it's not word for word correct, been a while since i went through it. check your fuel start parameter. i have mine at -30 and this helps with hot starts to deliver less fuel. probably why it wont' start up right away for you. next have you measured and inputted correctly your TPS voltage? that will be very important when idling. next mess with the idle control. i've found that depending on the mods, you don't need the PMS to control the idle, turn it off and see if it helps. otherwise mess with the settings inside that menu. bringing the idle up to a high rpm first, then tweak the percentage value(can't remember what's it called) and slowly bring the idle back down. dont' expect the car to respond immediately, it will take a couple seconds for the changes to act. so go slow.
Actally, its incredibly helpful. Tuning with a QH will ALWAYS result in a higher quality tune than what can be achieved with a POS PMS. Not to mention the range of readily available help for the hardware.
SCT tuners can write a tune and it can be uploaded to the chip. E-tuners like myself can go over the datalogs and explain why XYZ does what. Ultimately, you aren't only paying for a tune. You are paying someone yo teach you how to use the item.
More on why my way is a good choice.
I can burn the OP a chip with a tune while he is waiting for his QH to arrive. When it shows up and he can make it function, I can e-mail him the tune to be burned into the QH. Then just return the chip to me and get reimbursed the cost of the chip.
I personally think its a damn good course of action. But I also can't stand that piece of shit that Anderson sells. It's almost as bas as a calibrated MAF.
