Antenna delete done

The factory fly fishing rod of an antenna has always annoyed me. I have shortened it twice already but realized I never listen to the radio (use Sirius or MP3's only) so why bother with it at all?

I found this little billet antenna delete on Ebay for under $10, painted it black to match the antenna base and now it looks like a retracted power antenna

looks like a nipple =p i like it! i woulda tried it make the antenna sit more flush with the bezel though.

They made a few different styles, thought a flat one would look a little odd with the raised round area on the antenna base which is why I went with this one

yea it does look like a perfect nipple. I am not messing with my ant until I get it repainted and shave it completely. The nipple just looks wierd to me......

I mounted mine inside the fender then shaved the hole.

looks good man. I like my Roush 8" antenna though, even though I had to put thread locker on it to stop the messicans from stealing mine... ><

lmao. well i doubt they'd ever try to take my car. it's either in the garage or parked in my spot at work. we have video tape of 3 messicans eyeballing the car and the only thing they try to do is take the antenna with vice grips and fail miserably when they realize I secured that effer down. xD

If it were a friend of mines car, there would be a whole set of pics of me doing things to it that you would not want me doing to your car. I am sure that the childish behavior would end after it gets old in a couple of years.

If you want to delete your ant do a search for an underdash strip mount antenna. They work great and you can put them in a number of hidden places.

I don't even understand why you need an antenna when it's completely unnecessary! Satellite radio is where it's at!!

Honestly think it looks way better then having the gigantic stock CB radio antenna on. Does look like a nice ripe nipple though!
