Anyone else hear this?

Weird thing I heard today. Went to put my car in the driveway to change my belt, and I hear a very slight ticking sound that I never heard before. Oh and Vato Zone gave me the wrong damn belt to top it off. Moved the car back out, heard the same ticking. Shut the car and had my bro come out to see if it was just me, he heard it too. Very light ticking sound. Heres a vid I just took

Yeah you don't hear anything in the video. Hard to pick up between the motor and exhaust, its an ever so slight ticking sound. I'll see how it is tomorrow

Can't really here it on the video either. Is it a brand new noise or one you might not have noticed before? I know the injectors may make a slight ticking sound as well. Also is it louder on the pass side at all. Maybe exhaust leak?

+1 on the injectors.. they make a slight ticking like your describing thats easy to over look and freak people out the first time its actually heard

I've never heard it before. I had a problem with an injecotr awhile back, had it replaced. H pipe gaskets? Header gaskets? The manifolds are stock, never touched

Wouldn't an exhaust leak make the exhaust louder?

Thats what I'm sayin. So how could it be an exhaust leak? I'm going soon to have the exhaust place fix my drivers side tailpipe so it stops rubbing. I'll tell the guy to check the H pipe for leaks too, might aswell if the cars gonna be on the lift right?

You have stock headers our aftermarket headers

take some towels.. Start the car and have your brother cover the end of both tail pipes.. If it is an exhaust leak you will hear it get much louder.

But I am not sure its that.

Mine started to develop a light tick that got louder and louder. Turned out the header bolts needed a little tightening on the pass side.

im with Rob. i can hear the ticking sound, but its not really a "hard-tick" like injectors make.

I'm leaning towards exhaust leak as well. Wouldnt surprise me if it was an injector, as well.

The pass side h-pipe has a small donut gasket that it takes to mount it to the header. If it leaks it sounds like something is wrong with the motor. Very cheap fix if it is, just need a swivel extension to get to the bolts.
