Anyone with 245/45/17 Nitto DR's

I am wanting to get some 17x8 Tri-Bars and mount a set of drag radials in the rear. Is a 245 the only size that would fit or could I use a 275? I have heard that Nittos run narrow. If anyone has pictures of a 245 or 275 Nitto on a 17x8in. rim it would be very helpful. Thanks

I'm running 275/40/17 Nitto DRs on stock '95 Cobra wheels, so you should be fine.

I ran up to a 285 on my 8inch wheels when i used to have them. They will bulge a tad though.

I've got some Nitto DRs mounted on the rear stock 17x8 in 275x40x17 size.  Bulge slightly, but I think they look good and feel right as well.  Here are a few shots taken close up and zoomed out to give you an idea of what it looks like.

Thanks, that was what I was looking for. So they should be safe for daily driving?

Yep. No issues as long as you're not driving them on snow/ice/rain - that tends to be a bit of an adventure. LOL

Yeah Paul is right, they are fine for daily driving. Even when my car got caught in the rain a few times I never had issues with traction. I will say i noticed when i had 275/40s on my stock Cobra wheels the inside did wear slightly faster than the outside, not a big deal though. Idk if you saw this pic in the other thread so I'll post it again. They actually look really good on there I thought.
