motors gonna be done soon so i have to start thinking about a tranny. ive been searching on the tko every where, but keep getting the same things. plus they were old posts. but its either a love/hate thing. also know ill need some other parts to swap it.

car gets driven at least 10-20 miles a day. will drive long distances once in awhile for shows, hangouts, and track. will be taken to the track and run every once in awhile. has to be able to hold 600hp.

so help me out guys!

btw how do you make a poll?!

whats not to like about the tk0-600? I would think thats the best 5 speed to buy

Astro T5's look good, but i have been tolb by so many people (including 2 of my tranny shops) that T5's are just a bad design, they are prone to breaking, regardless who builds them

I bought a G-Force T5 from Astroperformance before they made their own transmission. I love it and Tony at astro is second to NONE when it comes to customer service. He has always returned my calls and helped no questions asked when I had a problem with 3rd gear on mine (it was a G-Force manufacturing defect NOT and astro problem). If it were me, I'd go Astro...all the way.

well a tko is gonna take more hp to turn over and is heavier than a t5. The t5 design isn't that bad its the weak parts inside. I say t5.
