ATTN: Hypercoated wheels!

okay guys ive noticed i dont post up much on here..but figured id give everyone a heads up/ warning..so i sold my chrome fr's like 2 weeks ago..and bought some hypercoated saleens from american muscle..and this is what i recieved...

so i contacted american muscle about this..turns out the reason why there on clearence this month is because they have intentions to discontinue this finish...apparently hypercoated is a long process that is also not an exact science..its done it batchs and is done by eye...SOOO with them being discontinued...they dont have many left so they are taking them back and offering me different wheels at a discount price for my hassle. so thanks to them for handling this the right way..but just a heads up to all interested...dont get too interested..unless you can buy these IN PERSON and make sure you see what your getting first..dont do it...now i have to figure out what i wanna run for wheels... ugh

yeah no kidding..and i only bought these cuz they were on sale..i really dont wanna spend $175 a wheel again like i did on the chrome fr's

im thinking black salees, black fr's with polished lip or if they give me a good deal maybe chrome saleens

Yikes! That's pretty sad that they sent them that way, but they're giving you a discount so yay!
And yah saleens are getting annoying, more over played nowadays than stock wheels on a V6 mustang.

Onyx sorry bud but am paid to have them sent back so I can order up some new wheels. Still completely unsure what to order. Took me 5 weeks to make a decision and click order lol. Damn money near burnt a hole in my pocket

That is very true, but either way its a completely awesome wheel. in fact in texas i've never seen them on anything. so its a rarity also

Eh personally I think black chrome is terrible looking. That's just opinion, I've never liked them never will. I have a friend that had black chrome fr's and think they look horrible. Much better in hypercoated or chrome.

And yeah onxy I wasnt too happy. But I have the money back and need to make a decision on what to order for new ones.

I wanted black chrome saleens but didn't want to spend the extra money at the time. Also I hear people talking about how the black chrome finish flakes off and crap, didn't want that.

Yeah well the chick that has the black chrome fr's had the same issues with her old chrome fr's exactly like mine and now starting on her black chrome ones.
