Sup guys, newb here. Have a quick question about replacing my broken shaft on my 95 gt. this past week I spun out and hit a water drain, snapped up my axle and broke a wheel. I've heard of the 94-98 7.5 & 8.8 shafts being the exact same minus the ring gear. I found a shaft out of a 97 v6 car for 40 bucks and another complete 8.8 Rear out of a 98 for 200. Now I know I should swap the whole rear out but have some fines and wanna spend the least possible on the car. Can you guys confirm I'll be fine with the 7.5 shaft out of the 97? Sorry kinda long but thanks guys
