Broke in the new Transmission yesterday, drove about 250 miles. Here is one of the pics of the roads that we traveled. Was able to get some over due photos, I was able to snap some photos showing just how much the sunlight affects the look of Bright Atlantic Blue paint. ^ Passenger left door open slightly
Was able to find more pics of the road if anyone's interested or near the area, its a great place to cruise. The road goes for 200 miles of amazing crusing territory, the twisty section shown above has to be the best part.
A bunch of the members used to have an annual Hawks Nest cruise back in the day, Matt, JB etc. Was a lot of guys on here from NY/PA/NJ back then.
That's sick, wish I was around then. Maybe everyone in the area can arrange a day to cruise up there in the fall? Im almost positive JerZeyStangz would be up for it as well as a few locals not on this site yet.
Another 200 mile trip, new trans&clutch is almost completely broken-in now. (Arrow in the background shows the road continuing & going through the side of the mountain.)
I would keep the dish the same front to back, but def get the rear setup so its more flush with the body. What style of wheel you thinkin?
For sure. Exactly what I was thinking. I am open to all suggestions but I have been eyeing the 3 pc CCW classics with the dish being the same size currently. Love the way they look on all sn95s. hotmustang95 has a wheel in the style of CCW's. I would be open to that as well. I still haven't decided on the metals finish yet, maybe photo shop would help my decision a little better but I am no expert at photo shop, definitely no where near as good as Ineedav8 his wheel photo shop jobs come out amazing, in most of the pics id never of known he photo shopped it. Here is a link to the wheels on the top of my consideration list at the moment. http://weldwheels.com/shop/sports-car-luxury/classic/classic-3pc.html
Not too shabby, I think a machined finish or a gray of some sort would be best, IMO....285/255 widths? going wide in the rear?
That would look sick. At some point when I have the free time I will attempt to photoshop several different finishes and see what looks best of them all, maybe i will even make a poll for everyone to vote. Yup right on the money, Def wide in the rear, and just a little wider up front. Within 1-2 years the build (mechanically) will be going deeper.
Was able to make a few, haven't had a second to sit down. Finally was able to get some time in tonight. Didn't make it perfect, changed everything over in about 30-45 mins so bare with me if its not 100% flawless. Chrome: Black:
