1994 gt

turns on fine, idles and drives fine until warmed up.

when warmed up has trouble keeping idle and breaks up/backfires at 2000+ rpm. module & throttle position sensor are good.

possible signs of coil/ACT sensor/hall sensor going bad? or even distributor?

previous issues were the pvc valve was missing, and the damper had also gone bad.

how do you know(as in how did you check)module and t.p.s.? i had napa check a module for me and they said "lets run it a few times because we see them pass even though they are bad sometimes". mine passed 1 out of 3 times. t.p.s. check i have not done on mine yet but they did not have any fancy machine to check it. just told me check idle voltage to be around .95 and that when smoothly increasing r.p.m. voltage should increase as smoothly to around 5 max if i remember right.

we tried another tps, and we tested the module.

tried a brand new tps and nothing worked. module was tested multiple times.

could be 02's also.
when the car is first started the computer is in open loop and after about 5 minutes of warming up(closed loop) the o2's start controlling fuel.
I doubt it's FP. Dizzy is an option as well as the o2's.
Are you getting any codes?

you don't need a code reader to pull codes. get a haynes /chilton manual and learn the paper clip method.

or autozone, napa, parts plus,or other that will read them for free. usually autozone can and will pull codes for you. don't know if our stangs do but neons can pull codes by check engine light flashes after a key on/off cycle of sorts.

in ga those places don't run obd1 codes. you should have a haynes/chilton manual for every car you have.
yes stangs cel blinks the codes but you can't do it with ignition key alone like the neons.
