My car has about 128,000 miles on it. I have a terrible poping and squeking sound over every single little bump and when the wheels are turned coming from my right front. I got new springs, struts and shocks less than a year ago. Ive been told before that its probably my ball joints. My question is, since my car is lowered would i want to get the steeda x2 ball joints or the ford racing extended ball joints, or would it matter if i just put stock replacement ball joints on? also if i do put the ball joints on that are for lowered vehicles will it lower it any more than it is already? I dont have a lot of room to drop any more in the front. Thanks

I am going with the ford racing ball joints they are just as cheap as some from oreillys or autozone. As far as lowering it moe they say it will lower it another 1/4 to 1/2 inch if you dont want them to lower it more it comes with spacers to raise it back up

I know im going to replace my joints soon and im just going to get 03 Cobra A-Arms, they can be found fairly cheap new and are easier then doing the ball joints alone. Id look into that if I were you.

I used the Ford Racing complete wishbone, besides the pain of pressing the balljoint in and out, chances are the bushes are a bit soft.
Works out a lot faster to get the job done too. :thumb:
