Bench Racing:'95 Cobra VS '96 Corvette

So a buddy of mine just picked up a '96 Corvette Collectors Ed convertible and wants to run my Cobra. I know the basic stats of the car 300HP LT1 and a auto, any idea what these run in the 1/4?
My ' 95 Cobra has the following mods
MAC LT Headers
MAC H Pipe with Highflow cats
Mac Catback
MAC CAI
BBK 70mm T/B
FRPP B-303 Cam
Steeda Tri-Ax Shifter
3:73 Gears

His car

Stock with an Auto

If its stock it still might be close, its a few lbs lighter.

Those year weigh are only maybe a 100lbs lighter..

Youll get him. C4 vettes are dogs.

Oh BTW it has the 300HP LT1 NOT the 330HP LT4...

The Collectors Ed has more power then the reg Vette. And yes it does have an LT4. (do some research)

if he has exhaust or anything, I doubt u have a chance..

Hmmmm Everything I read said that the LT4 was only a option with the 6 Speed cars and the autos got the LT1 (my buddies car is an auto...
Do you have a link to where it says ALL Collectors Ed Vettes have the LT4?

The car is a slug, but...cut the race off anywhere over 100, your 5.0 will cough out and his will keep pulling, slowly, but pulling.

Id put my money on the Cobra. I had a 5 speed 95 gt a few years back and i raced a guy that had an Auto C4 Vette i pulled him pretty good. my 95 wasnt anything special, basicly the same boltons your Cobra has.

LOL you act like I'm new to the internet. All I have found on Google was the LT4 option was only on the 6 Speed cars...

LT4 was mated to the 6speed only.

both cars are mid 13 cars with a descent driver.

BTW, whats the race, track, street, roll, dig, etc....

from a roll you might have a chance, from a dig no chance. at the track, the better driver will win.

Maybe a few street runs on the freeway on the way to the track and then a night at the track. We are at 5k+ Feet here in Albq so its more like mid to high 14 sec cars LOL.
