Im interested in buying a s281 ductail type spoiler and wanted to know were the best place to buy one is? Saleens quality sucks but I heard that ABCexclusive sells them that directly bolt on no drilling required and they are hand laid fiberglass not urethane. I dont really want one were ill have to drill new holes... Thanks Mike
I've never seen any S281's for 94-98 that needed new holes drilled....i bought mine for 189 from Speedworx.com
ABC's S281 is a bolt-on 4 bolt. Made of fibergalss... http://svtperformance.com/forums/showthread.php?t=347160
badass98, so I take it the spoiler from them is high quality? How much did it cost ou to have it painted I have a red car also...
I paid $300 to have my sideskirts and spoiler painted. So, I'm not sure how much just for the spoiler. I'd say $100-$150 And yes, my ABC piece is high quality.
Ive seen a lot of ppl say to use the 3m tape on 281 spoiler. I have one and was wondering how well that really works. is it noticeable? and how easy is it to get back off if u were to replace it? I just wanna make sure that when i put one on mine i do it right.
Yes, you need to use 2 sided tape on the rear edge. No, you can't see it. Yes, the tape will come off if you decide to remove the spoiler.
Of course There are lots of aftermarket components that are held on primarily with 2 sided tape. Front and rear valances, side scoops, spoilers, side skirts, hood scoops, etc.
