Re: Blacked out Verticals!

I agree with rice slayer. I don't really think the insurance adjuster would care or even notice the tails were tinted. And itwould only affect anything if the person that rear ended me said something about it. Has anyone ever even hear of a case where this has happened before?

But even then if I was at a complete stop and someone hit me. I really wouldn't think it would matter because you can still see the red clear as day.

Thanks for caring though guys, really. :)

Re: Blacked out Verticals!

Some polished/slightly larger tips would make the back look nicer imo. Or maybe just shining those ones up and figuring out a way to raise them. Those Saleen bumpers always make the tips look a little droopy to me, like they should fit inside those grooves instead of hanging below them.

Re: Blacked out Verticals!

I looked around on some NY state sites about the taillight laws and it never mentioned anything about tinting or altering them, just said you have to have one on each side of the car at the same height and that they had to be red and visible. Technicalities suck though.

Holy crap, that idle is viscous! I loved the way your Cobra looked, but you've definitely upgraded where it really counts.
