so the car has been sitting for alittle while waiting for the weather to get better and now that it has ive run into a couple issues one being the brake pedal doesnt come back up when you press it down, im thinkin it may be a vaccuum leak somewhere or a master cylinder problem? any ideas?

its a 94, right? im leaning more towards its a master cylinder issue, but you could try checking all the lines to make sure everything is ok. do you know if there is any air in the brake system, in any of the lines? that will also cause the pedal to stay on the ground.

i've never heard of the break pedal staying down. maybe something is bound up under the dash. even with the car off and no vac applied the pedal should still come back up. then again it could be something itside the mc. weird

yeah its a 94 I took all the wheels off checked all the lines didnt seem to have any problems, fluid level is good. nothing is binding under the dash i lubed up the linkages just incase.. no change.

the car stops fine no noise or issues just the pedal wont come back up.. so strange i know!
for what the master cyl. is worth im just going to change it out and see what happens.. cant hurt. :dunno:
