Well, a little shock tower rust and a leaky main seal has motivated me to freshen up my old '94. Gonna use this thread to show off, ask questions, vent about frustration and blah blah blah.

Plans for this winter include

GT40 explorer intake
Windsor SR heads
TFS Stage 1 cam
BBK equal lengths
EGR/air pump delete
Shock tower repair
Rear main seal
(All gaskets replaced)
Water pump
. . . Any other surprises I find

Right now the car is parked, I picked up most of my parts less, cam shaft, injectors, gaskets and hardware. I'll be doing the build over the winter with the goal of 300rwhp. So here's some pics

I picked mine up for $200 fully assembled so I'm not complaining. Only 10,000 miles

Mine too. I still have a house we are fixing up and a wedding next fall. So I can only do so much. No blower :(

No this will be it. Next year will be paint and interior then by that time I'll have kids and the car won't see the outside of the garage ever again lol

Thanks!

I'm planning on the EGR and air pump delete, it seems to be common to do. My question is what gains other then less clutter and less draw on the motor are there for doing this? I'm gonna have it dyno tuned once its done so I'm not gonna have a light to worry about. The intake elbow I bought has a sweet egr blocking plate lol

Nice project man, the only thing I would change is the heads to some aluminum just because our cars need to lose some weight.

I'd keep the EGR unless you have Foxbody headers for it, the only problem with it is the ugliness, but it helps fuel economy and driveability when your not at WOT. Some might say it doesn't affect anything but those guys are the lucky few.

My headers are already welded.

Racing guys off of eBay. My first set the rubber weather stripping got messed up. These ones my chick broke the driver side with the shop vac
