Lets keep this simple. By the end of summer I'll have 3k+-. I'm very indecisive and always found this concept interesting. alittle stats on my car.

96 GT 135k on it. Other then that the motor is stock.
Stock Trans.
Steeda CAI
BBK O/R H-Pipe
Flowmaster CB
Steeda Race Springs
Tokico 5-Way adjustable shocks and struts.
Pro-5.0
Steeda adjustable rear sway bar.

I'm open to all motor options, within reason. I'm just looking for some different directions that I could go in.

Maybe PI swap and some gears... Do it cheaply and you'll have a couple of grand left after...

Save that leftover dough for later... these days you never know when you're gonna need it...

If you want simple stuff you can do a pi MANIFOLD only, trickflow plenum, if you want you can try under drive pullies (split 50 50 on opinions) and there are a few other small mods you can do...but not a whole lot

e-building a motor has never been successful

I know. I've never built motor so I am looking for ideas. But specifics(brands ect).Different combos and what not. I already figured the PI swap would be first.

it really depends on how much you crank the blower up. anything more than 400-425rwhp i would go forged internals. You will definately need a 255lph intank before 400rwhp, atleast 42# injectors, and atleast a 90mm LMAF before 400rwhp as well. Anything more than that when you are building it up will need to be upgraded even more. I basically maxed my stock shortblock out with my vortech, now while I am building the motor up I have to upgrade everything that was already upgraded.

Cobra forged steel crank, Teksid block, Probe I beam rods and forged pistons, .020 bore and hone with a torqueplate, top it off with a set of PI heads with a fresh valve job, and a stocker intake. viola! will take a lickin and keep on tickin.
