Everyone in the industry knew this was coming.. Pontiac doesn't have an identity. The G8 was nice but who's really buying them? The only car in its lineup that people want is the Vibe and thats just because its a Toyota Matrix. I would have liked to see a new Trans Am but oh well.

Damn now new firebird.

My brother bought the first G8 GT that came to his town and keeps it parked mostly. Weekend cruiser... nice... kinda sucks to see Pontiac as one of th first that GM killed.

Darn Pontiac is going down??? Well, maybe my 1969 Firebird's value will go up. Actually pontiac is getting what it deserves for dropping the only car they had worth anything... The firebird trans am!!! Yes they re made the GTO, but it doesn't even remotely resemble a muscle car... AT ALL.. waaaayyyy tooo bland.

Bland designs= not too happy customers. Going fast may be extremely fun, but if you don't have the looks to accompany the slow times in traffic... then your just out of luck.

We all knew it was going to happen but you didnt "Hear" it a month ago... I could've predicted GM closing Hummer years ago and when they finally did it say I have known for years. Same principle...

Honestly, I heard rumors of this back in March. It's really too bad. We'll see the value of the most coveted Pontiac's go right through the roof now. Better buy them now.....

I don't know why GM would shutdown Pontiac before Buick... Pontiac is WAY better than Buick.

Buick recently beat out Lexus for vehicle dependability... Pontiac: Driving Excitement [my ass]

oh the reason they ened the gmc brand for trucks is because of the commercial grade large duty dealers out there, if your not in the industry you wont understand how different a normal dealer, lifts, different techs, different schooling, differen tools and alot of different training for a service advisor. its hard to swap all the stuff
