My insurense guy says special edition cars always cost more
the 03-04 cobra, the R32 VW, and the WRX STI are all very expensive
the R32 cost a ton and it only has 240hp heard some where it cost more than a new Z06 to insure,if thats ture its probably just because older guys are safer with the vettes and i think somthing like 1/2 of all R32s ever made have already been totaled.
Congrats on the car i am truly jealus, my dad almost bought me one instead of the 03 GT, he had the papers and everything then deided it was "too fast" (is that possible ha).
i would definatly do that if i could so go for it and protect that cobra with your life, i dont want to see the death of the cobra thread in month or two ....

lol...wouldnt be death of a Cobra. If he checks the insurance and it is too much for him, it can stay in my garage.... V you should probably check that before I drive all the way there.

yeah you never know maybe my instance was a accident on there part...?? whats the milage on your car?? i have noticed with the higher mileage cars the higher the insurance is for me maybe they expect problems and cover there arses..?? my cars got 27k and it is a cobra so maybe they figure it never gets driven and dont rape me on my premium...or maybe its because i got 6 cars and i get a fleet discount or something HAHAHA

My insurance was low on my Cobra, but I also had many car's insured.

Now with just my Jeep covered, and a ticket for speed in excess of 100 mph, it's pretty high. I pay 160 a month for full coverage on my Wrangler.

the insurance was cheap for me too on the CObra, but it is listed as a Cobra, not a mustang.

well v i remember being 18 getting my vert and getting a loan for it....with a auto loan they require full coverage and i was paying at the time 243 a month full coverage more then my car payment.....years later i got a loan for the cobra and full coverage for that now is 82.50 ...and im not 25 yet ....for plpd on my vert right now its 87.95 a month lol :hammer:
