I can understand sending it out for clutch but why wouldnt you install intake, TB and plenum yourself?

They will charge you a ton for work you could do yourself in well under an hour

clutch labor will be in the $400-500 range MAX.

if you are talking about a cold air intake and not an intake manifold then i'd say 1hr for the rest of the stuff. if you mean intake manifold i'd give 3hrs.

$500 isnt a bad price, $800 i'd say is. anywhere under $700 is descent for a shop to do it, but if you knew how long it actually took you'd be amazed.

This guy told me it could run anywhere from $500-$800????

10-17 hrs at $45/hr, lots of shops go by the book, so a clutch job is X hours to R&R the trans, intake manifold is X hours, etc.

last time i got my clutch installed by someone else (3 years ago) i was paying 80/hr and i think it all came to around 800 with a tranny flush and i got something else done but cant think of it off the top of my head.
45/hr shouldnt be bad at all. 400 for clutch. maybe 100-150 for intake and all that.

book time on the intake manifold is probably 3+ hours, so $150ish, the plenum/throttle body has to come off to do the manifold so shouldnt stack labor.

so $400-500 for clutch
$150-200 for everything else.

i'd be happy with $700 labor to install all those parts.
