I want to lower my car and I was thinking of going with the H&R Super Sport's. The problem is I that I have 10.5" rims in the rear with 315/35/17's on there. I wonder if it will rub or cause problems. Has anyone lowered their cars with this set-up on the rear of their cars? Did you have any problems? What would you recommend? :TY:

of course you can...but from what ive heard you might have to roll your fenders and flip the quad shocks...

X2 to both responses... roll the inner fender lip, and get some heavy duty LCA, and chunk the quad shock and you'll be good to go.

I've got H&R supersports with no front ISO's and both rear ISO's. I have no rubbing the fender lips at all. The only thing I had to do was hit the inner wheel well out and I put 1/8" spacers for a little more clearance from the exhaust. Here is a zoomed crop that shows how much clearance I have in a few places. Its tight but looks awesome if you've got the money.

My exhaust sucks for tire clearance, my tailpipe has already come loose twice and melted away the inside edge of my passenger side tire.

you prob wont rub but there is a chance best bet is to get the adjustable LCAs like mentioned put in at the same time, there a good mod anyways specailly with those fatty tires.

Maybe it's because I'm tired, but what are LCA's?

So LCA's make more room down there?

if you have your wheel off, look right behind the shock.. it looks the same just going horizontal.

FYI, you can only remove the quad shock with a HIGH QUALITY LCA (Maximum Motorsports)

I have removed the quad shocks from every car I have ever owned that had them.I mean really, about 90% of the quad shocks
that are still out there on cars are original and have over 90,000 miles on them anyway, are they really functional at that point?
I don't think so,and besides quads are for people who can't drive a car with a manual transmission. :hammer: That's not to say that
LCAs aren't a good idea,it's just that as much as a lot of people would hate to admit it,they won't make enough power to really NEED
anything other than stock.

Also,to contribute something to the thread,I have about a 1.5 - 2.0" drop on my coupe with Steeda Ultra-Lites and 315's & 275's with
no rubbing issues except for a slight rub on the sway bar in the front at full lock.
