car alarm?

I've been having an odd problem with the stock alarm when it rains. Everytime I drive it through wet weather, the car alarm goes off randomly when the ignition isnt turned to on. It doesnt matter if I locked it or not, it just randomly goes off. Anyone have this problem or know how to fix it?

Check for a bad ground wire.

Could be damp in the trunk, the main alarm units in there, do you have any leaks in there?

I did see a VERYY small puddle a few days ago at the bottom of the trunk where the spair tire is supposed to be. Where exactly is the main unit located?

Its on the left hand side behind the carpet clipped into a black plastic "holder", its just a longshot, but worth checking anyway.

you might wanna make sure the lil 'plug' in your trunk is working, its supposed to keep water out of the spare tire well, i know the one on my taurus is chitty
