car name

anybody have a name for their car?(other than when you're pissed off at it...)mine is enid. wife's 1st name, named after her grandmother.

My first car was a white '69 Mustang SportsRoof. My first new car was a white '91 Mustang LX 5.0 hatchback. It got confusing when people would ask me about my car. I'd say, "Which one?"

They'd say, "The Mustang."

I'd ask, "Which one?"

They'd say, "The white one," and so on. So I nicknamed the '69 Jake and the '91 Elwood.

Then Elwood got stolen and Jake got wrecked (I still have the wrecked Jake). I ordered a '95 GTS in Deep Forest Green. I nicknamed it Nessie, because the shiny dark green reminded me of a sea creature, and I wanted the car to be a monster.

Then I got a 2001 Crown Vic Police Interceptor. It is white, so I nicknamed it Moby Vic (the great white whale).

Then I completely redid my '95 and made it noisier, made it vibrate more, and now it rides much harsher. So I've dubbed it NVH.

Mustang is Marilyn and the Lincoln is Gertrude... Marilyn is because I have a "slight" obsession with Marilyn Monroe which is similar to the relationship with the car. Gertrude is the fat white duck from the 1959 original Journey to the Center of the Earth, self explanatory i guess lol!

i usually dont call it anything but i have caught myself calling it "Sally"

we call the other mustang "The '07" because it is quick to say
