it sounds like your puter took a dump or your having ground issues, also did you say you replaced the ign. module? did it run fine before? did you make any changes prior to it not starting?

I'm thinking CC hit it with the bad distributor. I have gotten a bad one before as well. Actually twice. Where did you get the distributor. From Ford? Cause they're really expensive. Is it a stock distributor, or aftermarket?

It's a stock Dizzy, it never ran right when I tore it apart it had 2 different heads on it and pullies from a different car. I replaced heads, injectors, intake, battery, tfi, dizzy, starter, pullies, throttle body, Mass Air Meter, and currently replacing the grounds.

Just came in from working on it, and got it started for 10 seconds. I had someone turning the key while I was messing with the throttle and it started as long as I kept throttling it. Then my battery posts started smoking and the wires were hot as hell so I shut it off

I had the same exact issue when I put my motor back in. It ended up being a loose ground and my dizzy wasnt in correctly. I reset everything and tightened the ground and she fired right up.

Cool, I'll have all the grounds ran tomorrow and let everyone know if it helped. Thank all of you for the help I really appreciate it.

this only a guessWith the spout IN the computer is allowed to control spark advance. So I'm thinking the timing with the spout IN is so far out of range the computer cannot adjust it enough for it to start.

I agree with CC'S. You said earlier you set the timing and tried going 180*? Are you sure your not out on the timing as he stated? Or maybe the computer is fried.

I've been able to start it now with it in, I heard that my computer just had to relearn everything or something so its starting right up. I haven't got to test drive it yet because my damn PCV valve keeps popping out at high rpms. So I'm currently RTVing it in there. Thanks for the help everyone!
