Making 600 in a terminator results in totally different street manners than a 400-450rwhp all motor 8.2 deck small block. When you're trying to make the power without a power adder of any kind, the parts have to be much more radical since there is no forced induction to make up the difference. You'd end up with a massive cam, huge heads, etc. driving around a parking lot would be like riding a bucking bronco, lol. Not hating on what you would like to have, just don't want you to go down the wrong road and spend a bunch of money and end up with a car that is miserable to drive.

i drive my cobra on the street making 600hp and its fine, the tuning needs some work... but has great manners

4.6 have better manners on the street and sc is different than all motor, that 600 hp is mostly boost not motor

350 is very do-able, like I said my old setup made 342rwhp, and that was on a mustang dyno with 0 break in miles on it. After it was broken in it would have definitely put down well over 350rwhp (possibly 360?) on a dynojet.

350 and around it is a good na goal, but reason i said 6 speed is you run out of gear in races with a tremec unless you want to run the road race version which doesnt have an od (wish i would have got the non od version)

Haha, it took me 3 years since I put the 347 in to get around to putting a big boy trans in, I'm a little attached to it now lol.

All the smaller lines (the -6an and -4an) are Russell Pro-Flex with their fittings, got them all from Summit. The power steering lines are Earl's teflon-lined with anfittingsdirect.com fittings and maximum motorsport adapters for the rack. The radiator hoses are XRP fittings in -20AN, not sure what brand braided line, I bought the radiator setup from Paul and it included the braided hoses and fittings.

i'm telling you, you're over thinking this. a simple h/c/i blower setup is a great street car with mild manners and good power. once you starting putting a bottom end in, it escalates very fast. get some 42# injectors and a 255 pump w/ in-line and call it done. easily be sitting at 400-450. some of me wishes i never put the 331 in and just kept it simple.

on a side note, you liking the transmission more now Dan after getting more time with it?

wow that blower is loud. do you use the stock pulley?

I'm not sure what the stock pulley size is for a D1SC, but it is definitely a smaller pulley than stock, running a 3.35 pulley currently.

As long as the motor makes good compression and is mechanically sound, you are right on the H/C/I/Blower setup. Problem is, a lot of these cars are old enough by now that their engines are a little tired to throw that into. My stock motor only made 280rwhp after H/C/I, that thing was toast lol.

Yea I like the 3550 now, just took some getting used to the non-synchronized reverse really.

Did you custom make the inlet pipe to your TB? I was thinking of doing a d1sc but I have a fox TB conversion. They said I might have to run the foxbody kit but I dont think it would work.

Also I made 310/316 on a H/C/I swap. Just add a blower and call it a day!
