get that junk out of my thread!!!
i was gonna post it like 10 times in row , lol hahahha
get that junk out of my thread!!!
i would have been pissed...
^ This is what I meant. Making 600 in a terminator results in totally different street manners than a 400-450rwhp all motor 8.2 deck small block. When you're trying to make the power without a power adder of any kind, the parts have to be much more radical since there is no forced induction to make up the difference. You'd end up with a massive cam, huge heads, etc. driving around a parking lot would be like riding a bucking bronco, lol. Not hating on what you would like to have, just don't want you to go down the wrong road and spend a bunch of money and end up with a car that is miserable to drive.
i drive my cobra on the street making 600hp and its fine, the tuning needs some work... but has great manners
4.6 have better manners on the street and sc is different than all motor, that 600 hp is mostly boost not motor
ohhhh ok gotcha! yeah you do have a very good point... ok maybe 350 to 400? LOL i thought about putting a viper spec in my cobra but i didnt want that ^^^ it bucking everywhere etc.
350 is very do-able, like I said my old setup made 342rwhp, and that was on a mustang dyno with 0 break in miles on it. After it was broken in it would have definitely put down well over 350rwhp (possibly 360?) on a dynojet.
350 and around it is a good na goal, but reason i said 6 speed is you run out of gear in races with a tremec unless you want to run the road race version which doesnt have an od (wish i would have got the non od version)ohhhh ok gotcha! yeah you do have a very good point... ok maybe 350 to 400? hate it jack your thread but do you have a pic of you motor? how much boost do you run for your 500?350 is very do-able, like I said my old setup made 342rwhp, and that was on a mustang dyno with 0 break in miles on it. wow that blower is loud. do you use the stock pulley?
i'm telling you, you're over thinking this. a simple h/c/i blower setup is a great street car with mild manners and good power. once you starting putting a bottom end in, it escalates very fast. get some 42# injectors and a 255 pump w/ in-line and call it done. easily be sitting at 400-450. some of me wishes i never put the 331 in and just kept it simple.
on a side note, you liking the transmission more now Dan after getting more time with it?
Haha, it took me 3 years since I put the 347 in to get around to putting a big boy trans in, I'm a little attached to it now lol.
