i was wondering how much room there should be after the engagement point? btw its a spec stage 2 clutch with a steeda clutch cable

do you have the fire wall adjuster or the stock plastic one?
i kept my plastic one...
park your car, turn off the motor, put it in first, then pull as hard as you can on the clutch petal toward you. (up.) then slowly press the clutch petal back down. this should re-adjust the clutch.
my spec stage 2 with FRPP clutch fork, stock cable and adjuster, engages then there isnt much room left... it also chatters quite a bit in reverse.

i have the spec cable and quadrant, and have the firewall adjuster sitting next to me. Fucking mechanic told me it didnt fit 96 mustangs and i believed him till i got home and looked it up. Idk if my stock adjuster is still their and the adjuster at the bottom is almost all the way adjusted i think
