I have to be honest, upgrading from the stock single piston setup to the 13" dual piston PBR kit was night and day for my car in daily driver mode. I went with the Bullitt kit all around and yes it did look better, but braking in day to day traffic was much improved. One of the best upgrades I did on my car.
Meh, I like the looks, but they won't clear my wheels. I've driven a handful of cars with Cobra brakes and they are too touchy for me. I hate having really touchy brakes. I'd much rather have $600 in the bank than slightly better brakes that aren't really necessary.
I've got cobra brakes. I love the look of them. Especially since theyre paint red and the mounting brackets are black. Pretty much like others are saying just go with new edge PBR and paint them. Theyll handle almost the same, but if you do have the extra money for cobra brakes/rotors/brake line, then i'd go with them.
g-load brace is a k-member brace. It stiffens the k-member to unibody. You want a 4 point style, MM if you can swing it. Car will feel much more solid, does a way better job than a strut tower brace.
Can't find a good pic of one installed on a stock k member but this is what it looks like:
i think i'll probably hold off on the upgrade until i get more of the stuff I've been waiting to get done. like i wanna get my exhaust and interior all fixed up before anything else, and then it will likely be some engine work. so i guess i'll upgrade them at some point. thanks for all the info guys! codee, it's cool dude. appreciate the thought!
