all stock 94. both right around the same price 300ish. silver streetheat TFS. 94/95 cobra. both are nice, clean and unported. i realize id have to buy the elbow as well for the tfs and if i put it on now id prolly lose some low end tq. how much better does the trickflow intake flow over a cobra?

Do you plan on throwing some aftermarket heads and a cam at the engine, or just the intake manifold? If you are leaving the heads
alone, then the Cobra intake should suit you fine. If you do plan on changing out the heads/cam I would wait and install all 3 at once.

I could never stand the way it looked, looks like a clam has grown on top of the motor.

There is plenty of room in the cobra for porting to help it breath as well as the TF and it looks 10x better too.

no you will not have to port the e7s to match the cobra, and wouldn't be worth the hassle of pulling the heads to do it. the cobra is a great intake (i used it for quite sometime and still need to finish polishing it to sell it) and you can port the lower to flow about as much as the tfs intake.

If you check the classified on here and corral, might be able to find a deal on a Tmoss ported upper/lower.

dyno tested or just guessing. With out making any changes to the TB or the maf I would think those would be a bigger choke point then the intake, before the intake. I didn't notice any performance gains when I put mine on until I upped the tb and maf other then it looked cool.

Dyno tested. I swapped to manual steering and added the cobra upper/lower at the same time. Same everything else and picked up 14rwhp. I'd say i gain a few hp from going to a shorter belt and the rest from the intake...

I can see the manual steering adding well more then half of those ponies compaired to the intake. but I am a stereo dude trying to learn motors.

I have a 95 cobra intake for sale for 275 plus the ride to your door. If you are keeping your stock heads, then hands down the cobra. The port mismatch on the TFS with stock heads will actually cost you power and performance. The cobra is fine for stock heads and you will see about 8 to 10 hp over a stocker. the tb and m/a will help some, but not much more on a stock config.

cobra by a long shot... i have NEVER seen anything good come from the tf street heat or track heat... i bought a motor from my buddy couple years ago and the only thing different i changed, was the intake, went from a tf track heat, to a bbk ssi, and both in a fox untuned, my car ran 3 10's faster and pulled 2 mph more and literally every thing was the same save for the manifold..
