The BEST 'least' expensive coil overs are the MM, and those are the 'cheapest' I would ever buy.

For starters about the UPR they come with like 1/2 the parts the MM kit does, more parts IMO means better operation, plus ive heard at least half a dozen people complaing about them making noise over bumps etc. Now if your just gotta hit the strip then who cares.

IMO the MM ones work great on the street...just get stiffer spring. If you drag once and a while 175# I got 325# which is firmer then most lowering springs but just before that point you go to no comfort whats so ever. Some people go up to 375# but it would be really rough ride.

Ya, I tried other brands of suspension stuff. Once you know the difference, MM is a no brainer! :)

well you buy the struts/shocks to go with the coilover kit, and ya it comes with everything else.
on the fronts you will Need 4-bolt Caster Camber plates to go with these, BC all the weight rides on the strut instead of the spring.

I got them from MM direct, or you can go through the sponsor. but you should definately call them and discuss the options.
also look into the info on their web site.
www.maximummotorsports.com

interestingly enough - I'm selling my front coilover kit BC I upgraded to a double adjustable and stiffer spring rate.
What I have (shown in the front picture) is Koni Strut with the MM coilover kit and 300# hypercoil springs. they're perfect for street, but for road course I wanted something stiffer. PM me if your interested. before I post up a FS thread...
the rears in the picture are new, replaced the GMS rear coilovers I had, and I still need to install the matching front stuff.

They have like 40 miles on them. lol.
all that driving from the tuner to the paint shop.
it really rides nice though.

That's the Panhard mount on the RH side.

Matt, double adjustable is where you can adjust the pressure on the compression and the rebound.

Trav- I'll get you some more info and stuff in a few days. :)

we don't need no stinking upper control arms. >:D
Torque arm, better known as a 3-link, replaces those stupid things.

The motor was rebuilt after that little mishap. It took quite a bit of damage as you might imagine.

The next race it seemed alright, but then the oil pressure was low. I'm not sure what's wrong with it now, and I haven't had the time/money/inclination to tear it apart and find out.

The car handles really well though. :)

My car sure feels solid, it's amazing the difference. and I don't have a cage yet.

The whole car is seam welded, and has a very well built cage and rear frame. It is incredibly solid for an old fox.

It is a standard 3-link setup, commonly found on circle-track cars and the like.
