I want to remove some minor blemishes from my paint. I dont have a da. any advice on hand applied compound or polish that may be available locally. want to make this thing look clean.

Theres no way you will be able to remove scratches with a compound by hand.

You might be able to cover them up with something like scratch x but theyll come back

I meant more along the lines of using a rough compound by hand would create deep scratches, for example: if he were to take rubbing compound to his car and would just create a terrible mess.

But I guess with the right products you can do it.

I just wouldnt bother without having atleast a DA
