I would say keep it laser, or some shade of Red so it's not too terrible to open your hood if you went with something drastic. Something like this would be nice.

Even having a faded E9 car myself, I say go back with the Laser Red. In my own personal view, it's the absolute best color an SN-95 can have.

Sonic blue is my second choice, but like has been previously mentioned... A full on color change is a huge pain.
