I have a 95 gt convertible and both driver/passenger seat belts dont retract properly or lock in a sudden stop and have some fraying. No one sells new seat belts for these years. Has anyone used the corbeau retractable harness? I know the dangers of the harness being mounted too low. The stock mounting location on the 95 vert is directly back and to the side. I could even reinforce the mounting location but I dont think thay should be necessary since they are adequate for the stock belt. http://corbeau.com/3-point-retractable-harness-belt.html Not looking to install a rollbar at this time. I know that is optimal but its a street car with the ocassional track day. Any thoughts?
Where are they not retracting? At the floor mounts of the rear panels? You can always just go to a junkyard and get some new ones. It's an easy swap. Make sure that they are positioned correctly. They will only retract at a set position.
