Exactly pretty much leave from idle. You will see 12's with slicks for sure . People usually cut atleast 1/2 second on a slick style tire

i just read all your posts guys and thank you so much for all the kindas words. i was kinda afriad that most guys just come in here talking shit about how i cant drive and blah blah blah. thanks guys and this spring im going to try a couple of things and i'll let you all know what happens

You wont break anything, i have friends leaving 5500rpm on 125 shots on stock axles all day long.

I have done it myself too. on 28x10.5s my best .60 was a 1.7 or so it just takes time/practice/correct shoes on the back

I wouldnt say "you wont break anything". A friend of mine put a 347 (400hp) in his 93LX. Leaving at 4500 on Micky T's, 2nd pass drivers side axle broke and tire came out past the fender.
