Cutting Springs

I have a 95 gt with the 2 Inch eibach springs. I wanna cut i coil off to really slam the car has any one done this if so does it look good and does the car ride alrite? Thanks guys

it's going to be bouncy and blow your shocks out if you don't have a good set of aftermarket ones. a full coil would be hella low man... it's a mustang not a honda lol.

i got kyb all around i just really like the slammed look so prolly just cut a half coil then?

you have sportlines and you want to go lower?? :shocked:

I have sportlines no insolators, with bilsteins and Konis
i believe my ride is rough. i cant imagine cutting the sportlines.

as stated above get coilovers.

I still have my isolaters on if i remove those how low does it lower it??

haha, this guys teh fucking man.


You could probably get away with like 1/2 a coil up front and 1/4 in the back.


Would lower you that extra bit to really be slammed...but your life will suck lol



Isolators are basically a plastic donut on the top and bottom of the spring.

Removing them up front is usually good for 1/4-1/2 inch

alrite im prolly going to take the isolaters off and see how it looks can the isolaters be put back on if i dont like how it rides?

no insolators, the ride is rough as fuck even with nice struts and shocks.
i think im going back to pro-kit no insolators.

umm, you have to host them first, open an account with photobucket,webshots or imageshack.
then just copy the img link and post it here.

why not try reinstalling the isos on your current springs first if you want a li'l more height?
