10 Grand for a car with over 100,000 miles is always going to be a hard sale.

Honestly there are 96-98 cobras going for the same price. Most 99 01s around here are over 10k and i am only asking 9600. There arent many of them around. And the car dont look like it had 50k on it.

My car doesn't look like it has 90k when it does. The problem is that you need someone who wants a 99 cobra. For not too much more you can get a 03 cobra or a mach 1.

geeze i need to come down by you guys to buy vehicles. in the states surrounding sd all the 99 01s are over 10k (most over 12k) and terminators are 18k.

I know if it was spring it would pry be gone in a heartbeat but if it aint sold by then ill pry just keep it. hell if it aint gone by end of jan i might keep it

Ouch! Sucks dude. I've seen a lot of classifieds around here where people are asking for payoff on the cars.

Blows!

yeah it does. I have a year and a half left on the loan so i will have plenty of money ahead after selling it for something else. A previous owner wanted in back but his wife said no. And got some guys trying to sell cars they wanted to trade that i aint interested in. Have a guy wanting to trade for a 98 gt auto plus but not really a fan of 96-98 gts. hopefully he will get it sold so he can just buy it

If everyone think its so overpriced what would you say is fair. Honestly just look around on cl for one surrounding sd. Most are 99 01s arem12k and 96-98s are 8k-10k

Did you ever stop to think that just because they are asking that price they are getting it? $10k for a 99 cobra is about right for where I live, IN CANADA :p.

I would say around $7500-8000 would be a good price. I know that ~$10k isnt too far off of that, but for a buyer it really is. But what I think needs to be changed, is the stance. Spend a couple hundred or soo on a nice lowering spring kit and take some really good pictures of it. The stance and pictures will sell the car. Take it around abandoned buildings where the red will really pop.

+1

I see them for $6500 to $9000 here.. Thats modded and low mileage at $9k.

Best bet is to try and keep it for now. This has got to be the worst time to sell a car.
