A family member had a 32 Vicky that he had close to 130k into, he had a shop install the rear custom chromed IRS and we picked it up and we were ass dragging it to Johnny Carson Park Kw Car show and about 20 miles into our trip the rear end locked up on the Vicky and it yanked the car and his tow rig ($80k into his truck btw) off the Hwy into a ditch. The Vicky rolled twice, we were on the roof. $210k gone in seconds luckily he had an extensive policy. The rod shop lost their insurance policy 6 months later and was resold to a family member so they could keep their doors open, lol.

-They forgot to fill the diff with oil.

I topped off the fluid level after I changed the seal.

when I got my car it had 150k on the odo. I got around to checking the diff fluid at 155k, and it was almost bone dry... much mmore of that and I would have been buying a rear end
